How accurate are the G1 questions?
The full 254-question bank is checked against the official Ontario MTO Driver's Handbook, most recently updated March 2026.
How accurate are the Security Guard questions?
The full 330-question bank is checked against ontario.ca's official Security Guard Study Guide and the ministry's Training Syllabus for Security Guards.
How accurate are the Canadian Citizenship questions?
The 114-question bank is based on IRCC's official Discover Canada study guide and checked against the current citizenship test format at canada.ca.
How accurate are the RIBO Level 1 questions?
The 159-question bank is fact-checked against RIBO's own retired sample exam, RIBO's official Competency Profile & Blueprint, and FSRA's auto insurance forms registry — including Ontario's July 2026 accident benefits reform.
How accurate are the OMVIC questions?
The 110-question bank is based on the official Georgian College Automotive Certification Course manual and verified against current OMVIC guidelines.
How accurate are the Private Investigator questions?
The 176-question bank is checked against ontario.ca's official Private Investigator Study Guide and the ministry's Training Syllabus for Private Investigators.
How accurate are the Smart Serve questions?
The 142-question bank is checked against Smart Serve Ontario's course content, the Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019, and AGCO responsible-service standards. Note that the real Smart Serve final test is proctored online — ExamHub is a free way to prepare, not the official test.
How accurate are the Food Handler questions?
The 150-question bank is checked against Health Canada's safe internal cooking temperatures and priority allergen list, Ontario Regulation 493/17 (Food Premises), and Ontario public health unit standards for manual dishwashing and sanitizer concentrations. Note that Canadian figures differ from the American ones used by most practice tests online — Health Canada requires 82°C for whole poultry and 70°C for fish, where US guidance says 74°C and 63°C.
Does the Food Handler quiz work outside Ontario?
Yes. Food safety content is national, so it applies across Canada. The exception is British Columbia, which uses FOODSAFE Level 1 — the same subject matter under a different provincial program name.
How accurate are the WHMIS questions?
The 169-question bank is written from the official CCOHS WHMIS fact sheets and reflects the current GHS-aligned Hazardous Products Regulations (amended December 2022, fully in force since December 2025). It correctly uses the 10 WHMIS pictograms — Canada adds the biohazardous infectious materials symbol that standard GHS's 9 don't include.
Does the WHMIS quiz work across Canada?
Yes. WHMIS is a federal system, so the core content — pictograms, labels, and safety data sheets — is the same nationwide. Employers are still responsible for workplace-specific training under each province or territory's OHS law.
How accurate are the forklift questions?
The 120-question bank is written from the CSA B335 Safety Standard for Lift Trucks, Ontario Regulation 851 under the OHSA, and CCOHS guidance, covering counterbalance lift trucks. Note there is no single official forklift exam — certification requires in-person training and a hands-on practical evaluation on your specific equipment.
How accurate are the Working at Heights questions?
The 183-question bank is written from primary sources: Ontario's Working at Heights Training Program Standard established by the Chief Prevention Officer (updated December 2025), O. Reg. 213/91 sections 26–26.9 and 78–84, and O. Reg. 297/13 sections 6–8 — all read directly from e-Laws. Watch for American study material online: Ontario's trigger is a fall of more than 3 m (not 6 ft), and anchor strengths are 8 kN for fall arrest and 2 kN for travel restraint, not the US 5,000 lb figure.
Does passing the Working at Heights quiz certify me?
No. O. Reg. 297/13 requires the training to come from a provider approved by the Chief Prevention Officer, and the Practical module includes four skills you have to demonstrate in person — calculating total fall distance, inspecting equipment, donning and doffing a harness, and maintaining tie-off when changing anchors. This quiz is study practice for the written test, which has a 75% pass mark. Certification lasts three years, and the refresher is the Practical module on its own.
What does JHSC stand for, and who needs the certification?
JHSC stands for Joint Health and Safety Committee. Section 9 of Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act requires one at any workplace where twenty or more workers are regularly employed, and at least one worker member and one employer member must be certified by the Chief Prevention Officer. Certification takes two programs — Part One, which is generic to all workplaces, then Part Two within 12 months covering at least six hazards specific to your workplace.
How accurate are the JHSC Part 1 questions?
The 185-question bank is written from the current Joint Health and Safety Committee Certification Training Program Standard (ontario.ca, last updated August 5, 2026), the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and O. Reg. 420/21, all read directly from e-Laws. This matters more than usual here: the standard was amended effective July 1, 2026, so material published before that is out of date — hybrid learning is now allowed, the violence and harassment outcomes were strengthened, and a lapsed certification is now restored by Refresher training alone instead of retaking Parts One and Two.
How accurate are the Hairstylist (332A) questions?
The 180-question bank is consolidated from Skilled Trades Ontario's official Hairstylist Curriculum Standard (Levels 1 & 2) and STO's general exam-format guidance, plus well-established cosmetology and infection-control knowledge.
Is the Hairstylist quiz the Red Seal exam?
No. Hairstylist is an Interprovincial Red Seal trade, but Ontario does not currently offer the Red Seal endorsement for it. Passing Ontario's exam earns a provincial Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) only.
How accurate are the Cook (Red Seal) questions?
The 166-question bank is written from the official Red Seal Occupational Standard for Cook (2020) and its published exam blueprint, plus Health Canada's safe internal cooking temperature guidance. Cook is a Red Seal trade — Ontario's certifying exam is the same 150-question Interprovincial exam used across Canada, so passing it earns both your C of Q and the Red Seal endorsement.
How accurate are the First Aid + CPR questions?
The 132-question bank is written from current national first-aid guidance (the 2020 ILCOR consensus as taught by the Canadian Red Cross and St John Ambulance) and aligned to the CSA Z1210 workplace standard — covering CPR/AED Level C, choking, bleeding, shock, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. It's study practice for the written-theory portion only; real certification needs an in-person course with a hands-on skills evaluation. Note that Ontario's WSIB renamed "Standard First Aid" to "Intermediate First Aid" under CSA Z1210:24 in 2026 — the content is the same.
How accurate are the 309A Electrician questions?
The 126-question bank is written from the Red Seal Occupational Standard and exam breakdown for Construction Electrician (309A) and the current Ontario Electrical Safety Code (2024 / 29th edition, CSA C22.1:24). Construction Electrician is a Red Seal trade, so Ontario's C of Q exam is the 100-question interprovincial exam with a 70% pass mark — passing earns both your C of Q and the Red Seal endorsement.
How accurate are the 306A Plumber questions?
The 128-question bank is written from the Red Seal Occupational Standard and exam breakdown for Plumber (306A), the National Plumbing Code of Canada, and the Ontario Building Code (O. Reg. 332/12, Part 7 – Plumbing). Plumber is a Red Seal trade, so Ontario's C of Q exam is the 125-question interprovincial exam with a 70% pass mark — passing earns both your C of Q and the Red Seal endorsement. Note that 306A is the plumber code; 309A is the electrician.
How accurate are the AZ / DZ Truck questions?
The 178-question bank is written from the Official MTO Truck Handbook and the Official Air Brake Handbook (both on ontario.ca), covering the Class A/D truck knowledge test and the separate Air Brake (Z) Endorsement knowledge test.
How accurate are the 313A HVAC/Refrigeration questions?
The 140-question bank is written from the Red Seal Occupational Standard and exam weighting for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (313A), Skilled Trades Ontario's 313A Apprenticeship Training Standard, and CSA B52 (the Mechanical Refrigeration Code). 313A is a Red Seal trade, so Ontario's C of Q exam is the 125-question interprovincial exam with a 70% pass mark — passing earns both your C of Q and the Red Seal endorsement. Note that 313A is the full Refrigeration & A/C trade; 313D is a separate, shorter, non-Red-Seal residential-only branch.
Why does the AZ / DZ quiz have two sections?
Because most AZ/DZ drivers need to pass two separate Ontario knowledge tests — the Class A or D truck test and the Air Brake (Z) Endorsement test — each based on its own official handbook. Test Me runs them as two independent timed sections; Practice Mode covers all eight topics freely.
How accurate are the Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) questions?
The 160-question bank is written from the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants' (CICC) own Entry-to-Practice Exam Candidate Guide and Essential Competencies for RCIC Practice document, and checked against the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, its Regulations, the Citizenship Act, and the CICC Code of Professional Conduct.
Does the real RCIC exam have a fixed pass mark?
No. CICC sets the cut score per sitting using the Bookmark method, a criterion-referenced standard-setting process, rather than a fixed published percentage. ExamHub uses 65% as a practice benchmark only.
How accurate are the PSW / Healthcare questions?
The 292-question bank is written from the Ontario Personal Support Worker Program Standard (Ministry of Colleges and Universities, January 2022) and its 14 Vocational Learning Outcomes, checked against the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Retirement Homes Act 2010, the Long-Term Care Homes Act 2007, the Health Care Consent Act 1996, PHIPA, and other governing legislation the Standard cites. Note that PSW is not a regulated or licensed title in Ontario — there is no College of Personal Support Workers and no single government exam.
Is there an official PSW licensing exam in Ontario?
No single government one. PSW programs — college, private career college, and school board alike — follow the same Program Standard, and many private career colleges additionally use the NACC Final Theory Exam (commonly reported as 200 questions, 2.5 hours, 65% pass mark) as their standardized final assessment. Public college programs typically set their own final exam instead, often at 60%.
How accurate are the CAEC questions?
The 347-question bank is written against the CAEC Test Administration Guide's published test-outcomes framework (Alberta Education's Provincial Assessment Sector, developed with Vretta), cross-checked against TVO ILC's own CAEC pages and independent CAEC educator guides. It covers the four selected-response subtests — Reading (82), Math (90), Science (82), and Social Studies (93) — comfortably above each subtest's real question count; the fifth CAEC subtest, Writing, is a hand-scored persuasive essay/letter task and isn't included.
Does the CAEC quiz cover the Writing subtest?
No. Writing is scored as a persuasive essay or letter, not multiple choice, so it can't be represented in ExamHub's quiz format. Test Me runs each of the other four subtests as its own independent, timed test, matching how the real CAEC is administered.
