Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 10, 2026
ExamHub (“ExamHub,” “we,” “us”) operates examhub.ca. This policy explains what information we collect, how it’s used, and the choices you have. Using our quizzes never requires an account, so most visitors interact with ExamHub without giving us any personal information at all.
Information we collect
- Quiz progress and preferences. Practice-mode progress and your light/dark theme choice are saved in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device — it is never sent to our servers.
- Voluntary form submissions. If you use a “Notify me” waitlist button, the feedback form, or the contact form, we collect whatever you choose to enter — typically an email address, and optionally your name and a message. These are processed through our form provider, Formspree, and used only to respond to you or to notify you when a quiz you asked about launches. See Formspree’s privacy policy for how they handle submitted data.
- Standard technical logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — for security, performance, and abuse prevention.
- Advertising cookies. Once ExamHub begins showing ads through Google AdSense, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
Google AdSense & cookies
ExamHub plans to display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to ExamHub and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
How we use information
We use the information described above to operate and improve ExamHub: responding to feedback and contact messages, notifying you about quiz launches you asked about, keeping the site secure, and understanding aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns. We do not sell personal information.
Children’s privacy
ExamHub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact usand we’ll remove it.
Your choices
- Clear locally saved quiz progress and theme preference at any time through your browser’s settings.
- Opt out of personalized ad targeting through the Google and industry tools linked above.
- Ask us to delete a form submission (waitlist signup, feedback, or contact message) by emailing us — see below.
Third-party links
ExamHub may link to third-party sites (for example, official government resources). We aren’t responsible for the privacy practices of sites we don’t operate — check their own policies before sharing information with them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ExamHub changes — for example, once AdSense goes live. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
