About the test
The Smart Serve Full Course final test is a 33-question, multiple-choice exam administered by Smart Serve Ontario, the responsible-alcohol-service program approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Questions are randomly generated, you have about 30 minutes to complete it, and you need 80% (27/33) to pass. It’s a single continuous test — unlike the G1, there’s no split into separate sections. The official test is proctored online with a webcam and government photo ID, and your certificate is valid for five years.
